Ezra Promotes The Pentateuch (written in Paleo-Hebrew; Phoenician Letters) in Jerusalem 450 BCEEzra the Scribe traditionally credited with bringing Torah to Jerusalem, written in Paleo-Hebrew script, a writing system derived from Phoenician (~1000 BCE), translates it for the people via Aramaic (the common language at the time) and promotes the use of Ktav Ashuri (Aramaic-based Hebrew script) which is later adopted.
